About the Author

Eliot Tretter is Assistant Professor of Geography and undergraduate advisor of the Urban Studies program at the University of Calgary, and previously he was a lecturer at The University of Texas at Austin. His research focuses on the political economy of urban development, especially in the emerging fields of critical sustainability and knowledge studies. He received his PhD in Geography from Johns Hopkins University.
